DJI_0375The 2022 Annual Meeting will take place at the Oklahoma City Convention Center. Oklahoma is in the center of the U.S and is easy to get to no matter where attendees are coming from. The convention center is just steps away from a number of restaurants, entertainment and attractions, everything you need for a great experience.

My back ground:


More than 45 years almost completely dedicated to the swine production:

-          The first 10 years as manager for animal productions of a feed manufacturer

-          The last 12 years as Managing director of the PROVIMI France Swine department.


     Gilles LANGEOIRE French, 68 years old, is an agronomist, who dedicated 45 years of his career to feed industry. He works today as a Consultant and swine nutritionist for feed compounders, home mixer farmers, feed additives companies… 
     Gilles LANGEOIRE worked as a technical manager for the major nutrition companies in France (UFAC, INVIVO NSA, PROVIMI…), working on the inner pig feed market and abroad, mainly South Europe and Asia. His major contributions to animal nutrition  concerned net energy supplying for growing pigs and sows, new fibres approach in the pig nutrition, piglets, growing pigs and sows, specific feeding management of Chinese blood sow breed, environmental issues (protein and phosphorus residues) and the use of different feed additives: 
                 - Enzymes (pentosanases for piglets),
                 - Phytases, 
                 - Polyphenols as anti oxidant.

     During all these years he was specifically in charge of:

-       The swine nutrition concepts, doing experiments and acting for development,

-       The study and determination of the swine general needs, feed formulation and specifics feed specifications,

-       The pig feed premix and feed additives’ creation and development 
     
     Specialist in pig nutrition Gilles LANGEOIRE was a member of the Scientific Committee of IFIP (French Institute for pig production), and is still in close contact with the main INRA and IFIP Researchers. 

Pourquoi faire appel à un consultant indépendant ?

There may be several reasons for inciting business leaders to hire an independent consultant: 

The independent consultant is an expert:      

Specialized: The manager of a company may need the services of an independent consultant when he desires specialized expertise and does not have the required skills within his company.   
Objective: It is the opportunity for an entrepreneur to get an external perspective on a complex situation that may involve several people in the company. Even the most qualified person within a company is likely to be influenced by his or her personal implications, habits and ways of thinking in analyzing a problem and defining solutions. The consultant is independent from the company, it can be impartial in situations where it is difficult for the people within the company to be.   
Credible: A consultant's professional experience may involve working on a file to support or support a decision made by a specific department or the company's management.   
Confidential: In case of market studies, studies of new products, studies on the strategy of the company etc ... the company can count on the professional ethics of the consultant, which allows him to keep the confidentiality of the study and to ensure its absolute personal confidentiality.   
Available: Sometimes a company may lack the available frameworks to carry out an internal study or project, the consultant can then ensure this workload by his availability and his desire to satisfy his customer.

Il peut y avoir plusieurs raisons pour inciter des dirigeants d'entreprises à engager un consultant indépendant :

Le consultant indépendant est un expert:
  •  Spécialisé : Le directeur d'une entreprise peut avoir recourt aux services d'un consultant indépendant lorsqu'il a besoin d'une expertise spécialisée et qu'il ne dispose pas des compétences requises à l'intérieur de son entreprise.
  • Objectif : C'est la possibilité pour un chef d'entreprise d'obtenir un point de vue extérieur objectif sur une situation complexe qui peut impliquer plusieurs personnes de l'entreprise. Même la personne la plus qualifiée à l'intérieur d'une entreprise risque, dans l'analyse d'un problème et la définition de solutions, d'être influencée par ses implications personnelles, ses habitudes et ses façons de voir les choses. Le consultant est indépendant de l'entreprise, il peut être impartial dans des situations où il est difficile aux gens de l'intérieur de l'entreprise de l'être. 
  • Crédible : Par l'expérience professionnelle qu'il a acquit un consultant peut être amené à travailler sur un dossier dans le but d'étayer ou d'appuyer une décision qui a été prise par un service ou par la direction de l'entreprise.
  • Confidentiel : Dans le cas d' études de marché, d'études de nouveaux produits, d'études sur la stratégie de l'entreprise etc ... l'entreprise peut compter sur l'éthique professionnelle du consultant, qui lui permet de garder la confidentialité de l'étude et d'en assurer la confidentialité absolue.
  • Disponible : Parfois une entreprise peut manquer de cadres disponibles pour réaliser une étude ou un projet interne, le consultant peut alors assurer cette charge de travail par sa disponibilité et son désir de satisfaire au mieux son client.
